Embroidery produces an image by sewing a design into cloth or other suitable material. The end result is a picture "painted" with thread. Embroidery is well suited for imprinting business logos onto shirts and caps, as well as simply adding monograms to clothing or handbags.
Monograms & Text
Southern Threadworks has a extensive catalog of fonts that can be used to create your monogram or name. Also, we can reproduce any TrueType font.
Typical price for a text would be $5.00 for the first line, $3.00 each additional line.
Digitizing
In order to create a sewing file for a custom logo, the design must first be digitized. Southern Threadworks can accept artwork in either print or electronic form. For simple designs, just scanning in the logo from a business card will work just fine. For more advanced designs, we can digitize from most graphics formats.
The fee for Digitizing is a one time cost, that varies depending on the complexity of the design. A typical digitizing fee runs around $15.00 to $20.00. Advanced designs are charged at a rate of around $4.00 per thousand stitches. Once the design is digitized, the price structure for sewing the design is the same as for stock designs.
Stock Designs
Stock designs offer an alternative to having custom artwork digitized. With over 20,000 designs to choice from, you're sure to find something to fit your needs. Also, text can be added to the design for $3.00 per line.
